Our Work

Resistance through aid

supporting the most vulnerable communities facing genocide in Gaza

A network of over 200 teams across Gaza, led by the communities they serve. They tell us what’s needed; we source, pay, and deliver — food, water, medicine, shelter, direct to those who need it the most.

Five campaigns. One network.

Our work is organised into five active campaigns, evolved over two years of operations. Each responds to a pressing need on the ground, and each continues to adapt as the situation changes.

01. FOOD & WATER

Providing for Basic Human Rights in Gaza

In the third year of genocide, food and water are still not consistently accessible to most Palestinians in Gaza.

Since we began, The Sameer Project has delivered over 1 million free meals to displaced families throughout Gaza. We also distribute on average 420,000 liters per day all over the strip – as of Feb 2026, we had distributed over 55 million liters total, a third of the largest supplier, UNICEF’s, total distribution!

In 2026, TSP became an official partner of UNICEF, enabling us to provide more water for less money.

02. MEDICAL AID

Providing Life-Saving Aid Across Gaza

TSP has two medical points, 14 doctors and 11 nurses. In our first two years, we served 3% of all of Gaza’s population with our medical care. Our medical team includes specialists, physiotherapists, speech therapists, a dentist, and a psychiatrist. They tend to patients in our medical points and conduct Medical Days all over the strip that serve hundreds.

We also conduct hospital distributions of baby formula, blankets and food parcels to support hospitals and encampments. We also support individual critical cases, those that need extra care or treatment to save a life.

03. SHELTER & ACTIVITIES

Providing Aid and Activities Across Gaza

The Sameer Project has a committee to assess camps according to: sanitation, shelter, bathroom, access to water, food, proximity to main roads and terrain. According to this assessment, we provide the most pressing aid for the camp and we share the needs with other mutual aid groups. Items distributed include tents, tarps, clothing, shoes and diapers.

We also run ad hoc activities such as tailoring workshops, photography classes, and kids’ cinema nights.

04. REFAAT ALAREER CAMP

Camps for Particularly Vulnerable Families

We care for patients and their families across three medical camps: Refaat Alareer Camp, Batool Camp, and Sawarha Camp. Your support cares for about 120 families, some with multiple medical cases within one family unit.

We also offer education and activities in these camps, including the Hasan School where 15 teachers provide daily lessons to 600+ children from ages 3-15. All lessons are accredited by the Ministry of Education.

05. REBUILDING GAZA

Helping Palestinians Return Home

The military occupation hasn’t allowed building material into Gaza since the start of the genocide but that doesn’t mean there is nothing we can do to improve the quality of life for Palestinians in Gaza.

Families who were forcefully evacuated want to go home. Where it is safe, and not beyond the “yellow-line” border created by the occupation, our team clears roads, provides tarps for buildings, and cleans up the rubble – we help start the rebuilding process! Some tractors and trucks help clear roads or provide camps with sand to avoid flooding.

Looking Ahead
building for sustainability

Community Kitchens

In December 2025, we opened our first community kitchen to provide up to 2,500 meals daily. Our meals are nutritious, flavorful and cost-efficient. We continue to raise funds to ensure it can run at maximum capacity.

Desalination Plant

The supply of clean drinking water is incredibly important. We’re now raising funds to have our own desalination plant to avoid price gouging and exploitation – this will also allow us to provide more water for less money.

Impact Spotlight

Medical Care

Aser, Age 6

Aser suffers from Aniridia, a rare congenital disease that means he lacks irises in his eyes. This affects his optic nerve, increasing pressure and sensitivity in his eyes.

He requires highly medicated eye drops and special glasses to avoid further complications. His previous glasses broke when his family had to evacuate from Khan Younis.

It cost us $300 to replace Aser’s glasses and get him the treatment he needs at Nasser Hospital.

The Sameer Project supports 52 children consistently across our medical camps, and even hundreds more through answered individual-case appeals referred to us by hospitals and case manager volunteers.
